Social Communication Station
Social Communication Station originated in the fall of 2010 when Kristin Judd and Renea Kraus developed Social Development Classes focusing on providing Social Thinking ® interventions to individuals with Asperger's Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, and other Social Learning Challenges. We began providing classes at the Plantation Community Center, and eventually developed groups for elementary, middle, and high school age students. In fall of 2012, we opened classes at the Weston Community Center, which became our sole location in 2015. At Social Communication Station, we are happy to have provided hundreds of students with social development classes in an effort to help individuals to better understand the "hows and whys" of social communication. It is our goal to help all of our students to become better social thinkers within the ever changing social world.
